He Spared not His Son

Nothing can separate us from God’s love— the same love with which He loves His Son. Nothing can rob our joy, for we know God is working all things together for our good. Nothing can destroy the peace that we have in Christ. Nothing can dampen our hope in Him as long as we continue to walk by faith. Nothing can ultimately harm us.

My Grace is Sufficient for You

Do you have a thorn in the flesh that gives you much heartache, dear reader? Remember, in the first place, that it is not pointless. So, learn not only to thank God for the roses in your lives. Learn also to thank God for the thorns. Roses without thorns are fake. They show the wisdom and power of man. But roses with thorns show the Lord’s infinite wisdom and mighty power.

The Purpose of Trials

Remember, O child of God, that all things are working together for your good even though they do not appear that way. Remember that God is cultivating Christ-likeness in you through what you are going through. Remember that Christ Jesus, your Lord and elder brother, will never leave you to fend for yourself. Nothing can separate you from His love for you, for He has already laid His life down for you. Amen.

Perfect Peace

Though God has begun to build the New Jerusalem, it pleases Him to bring us through a season wherein we will still suffer various trials and tribulations. But thank God we do not have to face them the way the world may. We do not need to be unsettled, fearful, apprehensive, pretentious, dissatisfied, disgruntled, whiny or grouchy. We can walk with joy, peace and hope.
