The LORD is against them that do evil and will cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. But He is a merciful God. He will hear the cries of all who come to Him in contrition and broken-heartedness.

The Lord Jesus was tempted in all points like are we are. He felt the desperation and fears we feel, but he was able to continue to the cross with confidence.
Dearly beloved sheep of Christ, if you have Christ as your Shepherd and hear His voice and follow Him closely, all is well. You can sing Psalm 23 with genuine affection and confidence in your heart.
We have been rescued from the greatest possible evil and we have been blessed with the greatest possible good. What more can we ask for? Surely, the least we can do is to be grateful to Him and to be filled with amazement at what He has done for us!
