Righteousness is not what people say of you or how honest or gentlemanly you are. To be righteous in God’s eye is to be perfectly aligned with God’s law.

Divine covenants are the relational mechanisms God has employed to bridge the distance between infinite God and finite man.

You are reading this sermon because God has ordained, from before the foundation of the world, that you should be doing so now.

God ordered everything in our creation so that we may be brought to think about Christ when we think about our existence.

Praise the Lord that though we are but dust, He has made us appreciate how He created the world so that we may glorify Him and enjoy Him forever. 

All who are generally regarded as Christian accept the doctrine of the Trinity, but not all believe this doctrine. I am referring to the sovereignty of God…

If you believe in the Bible, you must believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. You cannot truly be a Christian if you do not believe in the Trinity.

This verse lends itself naturally to a threefold description of who the Lord Jehovah is: (1) He is the true God; (2) He is the living God; and (3) He is an everlasting King.

Ultimately, the knowledge of God is not merely to inform us about God. Instead, it enables us to relate to God—to praise him, to commune with Him, and to enjoy Him.

As we contemplate the fact that God is infinite, eternal and unchangeable, let us remind ourselves of the great distance between God and us.
